Rita Sue Dunham, born August 29, 1946, in Walltown, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, in Mason, Ohio. A devoted wife, sister, aunt, and friend, Rita lived a life centered on faith, family, and quiet kindness. Her gentle presence and steadfast character left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

Rita spent her career at Procter and Gamble, where she was respected for her dedication and strong work ethic. Deeply committed to her Christian faith, she volunteered for decades at Lockland Christian Church, finding joy and purpose in serving others. She was an enthusiastic bowler and golfer, a loyal follower of University of Kentucky basketball and the Cincinnati Reds, and an accomplished puzzle solver. Family and friends will remember her delight in baking Christmas cookies, attending Reds games, and organizing UK basketball trips with the “Cattrackers” group. She was also an active member of the Red Hat Society for many years.

Above all, Rita cherished time with her loved ones. She loved hosting family gatherings filled with laughter and warmth. She is survived by her husband of more than 54 years, Lloyd Dunham; her sisters, Carol Butts and Becky Anderson; her nephew Troy Maynus (Lisa), niece Jayna Ratliff (Bryan), and nephews Jason Richardson (Lora) and Jerry Wall (Dianna); as well as great-nieces Lauren Maynus, Madison Ratliff, and Mallory Ratliff, and great-nephew Asher Richardson. Many other nieces and nephews also survive her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Eva Wall, and her siblings Mae Dell, Marvin, Agnes, Arnold, Arlis, Lowell, Hollis, Merle Gene, and Bobby.

Rita’s gentle spirit, unwavering faith, and loving heart will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
