Rita Meyer ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by White Funeral Home - Burnsville on Mar. 16, 2026.Rita Rose Meyer, age 88, of Burnsville, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026.Rita was preceded in death by her grandson, Brandon; and her siblings, Josina Friederichs, Mildred Poepping, John Berling, and Henry Berling.She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, George Meyer; her sons, Tom (Jacquie) Meyer and Mike Meyer; her cherished grandchildren, Nick (Sarah), Kevin (Amanda), Mindy (Jake), and Nicholas; and her great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Payton, Mason, Lena, and Tikka. She is also survived by her in-laws, Lloyd Poepping, Patricia Berling, and Lyla Berling, along with other loving relatives and friends.Rita was known as a devoted caregiver to her family and friends. Her family meant everything to her, and she especially adored her grandchildren, cherishing the time she spent with them. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, March 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Mary, Mother of the Church, 3333 Cliff Road East, Burnsville, Minnesota.Visitation will be held from 10:00–11:00 AM prior to the Mass at the church.Interment of ashes will take place at All Saints Cemetery.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
