Rita R. Nelson

Rita R. Nelson passed away on March 7, 2026, surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, DeWayne R. Nelson, her parents Isadore and Aurelia Rolczynski, her son-in-law Jon Swanson, and the Geske twin boys.

She is survived by her children, Michael (Michele) Nelson, Yvonne (Bruce) Geske, Kathryn Swanson, David (Laura) Nelson, Mark (Melissa) Nelson, and Mary (Robert) Simon; her grandchildren John, Brittany, Matt, Lauryn, Amber, Tyler, Marcus, Michael, Mallory, Molly, Anna, and John; her great-grandchildren Ridleigh, Kennedy, Charlotte, Scottlyn, Harvey, William, Wrenley, River, Brevik, and Denver; her siblings Dan, Audrey, Annette, and Bernadette; and many nieces and nephews.

Rita’s Polish wit and spontaneity, along with her deep love for her family and friends, will be dearly missed.
