She was born on April 17, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Tim and Claudette (Shelton) Redmon.Rita was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She married Donnie Murray, who survives.She is also survived by her children, Willie Murray and Vanessa Sawaf and husband Nabeel; her siblings, Tammy Brewer and husband Dalewood, Jackie Redmon, and Sherry Taylor and husband Mark; and her three grandchildren, Michael Murray, Amira Sawaf, and Cody Joe Redmon.Rita was an avid believer in Jesus, and her faith was an important part of her life.A celebration of life will be held at a later date.To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Rita L.
