He was predeceased by: his father Taylor Garner; his stepfather Don Laugenberger; and his parents-in-law, Joyce and Jim Richardson. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Garner; his children, Tina Blackwood and Shaun Garner; his grandsons, Brandon, Austin Blackwood, Michael, Cameron and Donivin Garner; his mother Nancy Laugenberg (Rohovetz); his sisters, Vicky Garner, Trudy Russo (Rudy) and Cindy Longenecker (Mike); his aunt Janet Hassler; his in-laws, Kathy Gruber, Diane Richardson and Deb Hogan (Greg); and his close friend Buddy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Richardson-Stafford Funeral Home (780 N Winsted St, Spring Green, WI 53588).
