Ricky Monroe Eggleston

Ricky Monroe Eggleston, age 64, of North East, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on March 13, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on July 18, 1961, to the late Ruth Sweat and Ernest Eggleston, Ricky graduated from North East High School and built a long and dedicated career as a CNC Programmer at Electric Materials Company. For more than three decades, he earned the deep respect of his coworkers through his hard work, loyalty, and unwavering integrity.

Ricky found joy in the outdoors, whether hunting, fishing at Bull’s Dam, or camping. He also loved to cook and bake, often preparing meals to share with those he cared about. Above all, his greatest happiness came from his beloved daughters, whom he cherished with all his heart. He took immense pride in being their father and found quiet comfort in the companionship of his cats.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Michelle Eggleston. Ricky is survived by his daughters, Amber Eggleston and Britney Eggleston; his granddaughter, Aubrey Urbieta; his sisters, Linda Gordon (Howard) and Nancy Craig (Don); his brothers, Jack Sweat (DeseRai) and Mike Eggleston (Pam); and many nieces and nephews.
