Ricky Lee Roberts

Ricky Lee Roberts, age 67, of Lawrence Park, passed away on March 11, 2026, after battling multiple health issues. Born in Erie on August 7, 1958, he was the son of the late Lee D. and Laura Roberts.

A 1976 graduate of Iroquois High School and a 1983 graduate of the General Electric Apprentice Program, Ricky enjoyed a long career at GE, retiring at the age of 56. From a young age, he built an impressive collection of more than 50 model cars and took great pleasure in watching NASCAR races. He was also a skilled woodworker who took pride in his well-equipped shop and was always ready to lend a hand as the family’s go-to handyman. Those who knew him will remember his generosity, his willingness to mentor others, and his deep appreciation for his friends and family.

Ricky is survived by his three sisters, Cathi Pawlik, Bonnie Roberts, and Pamela Orzechowski; his sister-in-law, Sandi Roberts; nine nieces and nephews; 19 great-nieces and nephews; and two great-great-nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas L. Roberts, and his brother-in-law, Stephen Orzechowski.
