Richard Walker Pritchett, Jr.

Richard Walker Pritchett, Jr., 88, of Radiant, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at his home. Born on November 11, 1937, he was the son of the late Richard Walker Pritchett, Sr., and Myrtle Irene Gilliam Pritchett. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Cluster Berry.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Virginia Coleman Pritchett; his daughters, Sheila Marie Love and her husband Carson, and Wanda Gay Berry; his sister, Dorothy Elizabeth Henry and her husband Marvin; his grandchildren, Ricky Love, Meghan Love, Coleman Love, Rachel Love, Christine Berry, Anthony Berry, Jessica Hurt, and Kyle Berry; and his great-grandchildren, Bailey, Kaylee, David, Starr, and Audrey.

A lifelong resident of the Radiant community, Richard lived a quiet and steady life surrounded by the family he cherished. He will be remembered for the love and stability he provided across three generations.
