Richard Svec

Richard Svec, age 88, passed peacefully on March 10, 2026, surrounded by the family he loved so dearly.

He was the beloved husband of the late Brigitte Svec (née Klug). Richard was a loving father to his daughter Denice (Arthur) and a cherished Papa to his grandson Nicholas. Born to James and Cecelia Svec, he was a dear brother to James (Lois), Florence (Ken), Dorothy (Arthur), and Thomas (Karen). He was also a treasured uncle and a loyal friend to many.

A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Richard carried the values of service and reliability throughout his life. He was a remarkably kind and generous man, the type who would truly give the shirt off his back. Whether offering a helping hand or a listening ear, Richard was always someone others could count on. His legacy of selflessness remains with all who knew him.
