Richard Scott, 83, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026. A longtime member of Antioch Baptist Church, he lived a quiet and faithful life grounded in his church community and the love of his family.
He is survived by his wife, Elsie Scott; his son, Damon Scott; his daughter-in-law, Sheila Scott; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a wide circle of family and friends who will remember him with deep affection.
Richard’s steady presence and gentle spirit touched all who knew him, and he will be dearly missed by those he leaves behind.
