He grew up between Florence and Watertown and attended school in Florence, South Dakota.Rich worked for Dakota Bodies before starting his own construction/concrete company. Later, he went on to open his own powder coating business. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, working on his car, and spending time with his beloved dogs, Buddy and Winston.He is survived by his parents; his children, Robin (Dustin) Olson of Watertown, SD, Troy (Taryn) Riley of Waubay, SD, and Niki (Ryan) Hoaglan of Clear Lake, SD; eight grandchildren; and his siblings, Deann (Tim) Boerger of Watertown, SD, Diane (Mark) DeWit of Sioux Falls, SD, Toni Johnson of Modesto, CA, Tracy Riley of Sioux Falls, SD, and Ryan (Beth) Riley of Jasper, MN.He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Riley, and his infant brother, Christopher Riley.Wight and Comes Funeral Chapel is serving the family.www.wightandcomes.comTo plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
