Richard Otto Hansen

Richard Otto Hansen, son of Arthur and Caryol (Clausen) Hansen, was born on December 1, 1962, in Superior, Nebraska, and passed away on March 11, 2026, at the Good Samaritan Society in Superior at the age of 63.

A graduate of Superior High School, Richard spent his life in the community where he was raised. He was preceded in death by his parents and his infant siblings, Deborah and Jonas.

He is survived by his siblings: Caryn Geiger of Superior, Colorado; Denise (Sam) Long of Stanwood, Washington; Blaine (Cathy) of Atlantic, Iowa; Sherryl (James) Zoltenko of Courtland, Kansas; Jim of Superior, Nebraska; Christina (Stan) Eggen of Montgomery, Texas; Tamera of Superior, Colorado; and Jeff (Jennifer) of Burgaw, North Carolina; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Private family services were held, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Superior, Nebraska.
