Richard Morris Deen

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Morris Deen of Olive Branch, Mississippi, who passed away on March 6, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Richard departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Richard. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Morris Deen and Geraldine Powers Deen. He is survived by: his wife Dixie Deen; his daughters, Jacquelyn Annice Deen Welch and Denise Deen; his stepchildren, Charlie Cook (Ashley) and B. J. Cook (Whitney); his grandchildren, Gracie Cook Harlow, Noah Cook and Garrett Cook; and his siblings, Margaret Sides (Jerry) and Joe Deen (Jana).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grace Church of the Nazarene (8979 E Shelby Dr, Memphis, TN 38125). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
