Richard Lee “Rick” Shears, 71, of Gaylord, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at Medilodge of Gaylord.
Born in Flint, Michigan, Rick was the son of Leland and Fern Shears. He spent many years in Gaylord, where he met and married Mary Lynn Dutcher. He was well known in the community for his years working at 7-Eleven.
Rick is survived by his wife, Mary, and his son, Johnny, both of Gaylord.
In keeping with his wishes, his family will remember him privately.
