He is survived by: his wife Sandra Bracken; his children, Cheryl Sage (Mark) and Richard Bracken, Jr.; his grandchildren, Megan and Roman; and his siblings, Andrew (Patricia Bracken), William (Marianne Bracken), George Bracken, Brian (Nancy Bracken), Judy (Jerry Quinn) and Loraine (David Craun).

A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sarasota National Cemetery (9810 FL-72, Sarasota, FL 34241).
