Richard "Duly" Jaggers

Richard H. “Duly” Jaggers, 68, of Indianapolis, passed away on March 10, 2026. Born on December 25, 1957, in Indianapolis, Indiana, he was the son of the late Elzie W. “Red” Jaggers and Mary E. (Davis) Jaggers.

Duly found great pleasure in fishing and was a devoted Colts fan. He cherished above all the simple joys of sharing good food and laughter with family and friends, and those moments spent in their company were among his happiest.

He is lovingly remembered by his brothers, David Jaggers and Ray; his nephews, Baby Gary Poynter and Patrick Jaggers; his nieces, Wendy Poynter, Kelly Kelso, Joanie Jaggers, Kim Jaggers, Regina Jaggers, Stacy Daughtery, Lizzy Jaggers, and Jamie Rose; and his dear friends, Judy and Savanna Curry. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marie “Gertie” Poynter; his brother, John Jaggers; and his nephew, John Boy Jaggers.
