Quier, Sr., 73, formerly of Allentown passed away Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Garden of Easton, where he had been residing. He was the longtime companion of the late Sharon A. "Pepper" Hohl. Born in Bethlehem, November 6, 1952, Richard was the son of the late Ralph Benjamin Quier, Jr. and Jean Lucille (Nicholas) Quier. He was a roofer in the Lehigh Valley for many years.Survivors: children, Jason Defiore and his wife, Katrina of Easton, Nicholas Defiore, Jr., of Allentown, Jasmine J. Quier and Robert Burdette of Hamburg, Richard G. Quier, Jr. of Fleetwood, Shari Rodriguez of Allentown, Cheyanne Quier of Allentown, Nicole Quier of Allentown; brothers, William Quier and his wife, Sharon of Allentown, Jimmy Quier of Allentown; sister, Debbie Stroble and her husband, Harry of Allentown; grandchildren, Alessia, Damian, Adalyn, Jeremiah, Brian, Zaylani, Sylas; predeceased by children, Bernadette Kropf and Kyler S. Quier and siblings, Ralph III, John, Scott Quier and Harriet Schell.Service: A visitation period will be held 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2026 in the Heintzelman-Stephens Funeral Home, P.C., 274 N.
