Richard Fellure ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Chapman Funeral Home - Hurricane on Mar. 17, 2026.Richard Fellure 79, of Hurricane, WV passed away Monday morning March 16, 2026.He was born to the late Curtis and Hazel (Clagg) Fellure on March 10, 1947 in Huntington, WV.Richard was a 1965 graduate of Milton High School and was involved with several different occupations throughout his career. He loved serving his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Traveling was one of his greatest pleasures and visiting the national parks all over the United States was his passion. His book of passport stamps from the parks is almost full.Richard is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Nancy; son, Curt Fellure of Hurricane, WV; grandchildren: Rece and Paislie Fellure of Hurricane, WV; sister, Brenda Turpin of Natchitoches, LA; brothers: Roger Fellure of Milton, WV and Rickie Fellure of Barboursville, WV; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.The family will receive friends on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at River Ridge Church 1 Saturn Way Hurricane, WV.A Celebration of Richard's Life will immediately follow with Pastor Andy Tuel officiating.In lieu of flowers donations can be made, in honor of Richard, to Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Curtis Price Way, Charleston, WV 25311.Anyone wishing to leave an online memory may do so by visiting his tribute page at: www.chapmanfuneralhomes.com.Chapman Funeral Home 3941 Teays Valley Road Hurricane, WV 25526 is honored to serve the Fellure family.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
