Richard Dean Cowen of Huffman, Texas, passed away on March 15, 2026, at the age of 61.
He was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth J. Cowen and Janet Mae Webb. He is survived by his wife, Lena Cowen; his sons, Kenneth Jack Cowen (Peace), John Robert Cowen (Allie), and Luke Richard Cowen (Dulce); his sister, Kristie Stephens (Mike); and his aunt, Nancy Raymond (Mike). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.
Richard lived a life marked by quiet strength and steadfast devotion to his family. Those who knew him will remember the steady presence he offered as a husband, father, brother, and friend, and the way his love continues to anchor those he leaves behind.
