Born on February 15, 1948, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Richie lived and vibrant life dedicated to family, service and spreading joy to all who knew him.Richie served his country with honor in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After his military service, he pursued a career as a skilled craftsman at A7B Hardwood Flooring until his retirement. His hard work and dedication were evident in every endeavor he undertook.Richie shared a deep and enduring bond with his late wife, Susan Weiss. Together, they were lifetime members of Moose Lodge #455, where their contributions left a lasting impact on their community. Richie's playful spirit shone brightly as he brought smiles to countless faces by embodying Santa Claus at Christmas celebrations and Cupid at Valentine's Day events at Moose Heaven.A man of many talents and passions, Richie had a creative soul. He found joy in trains, woodworking, and fishing. His backyard was a masterpiece that reflected his artistic vision and love for nature-a sanctuary where he spent cherished moments with loved ones.Richie is survived by his children: Richard Cappadonna (Cynthis) of Jacksonville, Florida; Theresa Cappadona of Thayer, Missouri; and Carrie Young of Jacksonville Florida. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren continue to carry forward his legacy. Richie also held a special place in his heart for his beloved dog Peanut. He is further survived by brothers- and sisters-in-law as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.He was predeceased by his wife Susan; parents Carl and Valois Weiss; parents-in-law Frank and Leora; brother Carl and Robert; son Timothy; grandson Adam; son-in-law Rodney; niece shelly; and great niece Lizzy.Richard carl "Richie" Weiss will forever be remembered for his humor, kindness and the love he brought into the lives of others.
