Richard C. Kelley, a cherished father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home in Winnsboro, Texas, on March 6, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on August 24, 1948, in Denton County, Texas, Richard lived a life filled with adventure and love. After graduating from high school, he proudly served his country in the Air Force from February 17, 1969, until his discharge on October 14, 1970. He then built a career as a truck driver in the transportation industry, spending many years on the open roads.

Richard will be remembered for his kindness, his laughter, and his unwavering love for those around him. Though he has left this world, his stories and spirit remain alive in the hearts of all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Kelley and Charlotte Kelley; his wife, Linda Kelley; his son, Johnathon Arron Kelley; and his sister, Carol Woodley.
