Richard C. Eisert

Richard C. Eisert

November 25, 1955 March 13, 2026

Erie, PA

Richard C. Eisert Jr. (Rick) was a beloved father, husband, brother, uncle, friend, and grandfather, lovingly referred to as “Grumpy” for his one-of-a-kind personality. Rick passed away at home on March 13, 2026. He was 70 years old.

Rick loved spending time with his family, listening to music, being on his computer, and playing video games with his granddaughters when they were younger. He retired from Erie Tool Works.

Rick had the world’s best sense of humor and sarcasm. He could make a joke of anything and never took anything too seriously. He was so much fun to be around.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Eisert (Bull), his father, Richard C. Eisert Sr., his brother, Doug Eisert, his twin sister, Susan Wade, and his mother-in-law Wilma Senyo.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Paulette Eisert (Senyo); daughter, Tracy Watson (Chris Suchocki); siblings: Debbie Salchak, Diane Vildostegui, and Carolyn (Ted) Salchak; granddaughters, Maggie Watson and Miranda (DJ) Schultz; many nieces and nephews, and good friend, David “Sonny” Watson.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the incredible nurses at Lakeland Hospice. They did an amazing job taking care of Rick, and we are all beyond grateful.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date to honor and celebrate Rick’s life.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. West Ridge, 3801 W. 26th St., Erie, PA 16506.
