Richard C. Cedar, 75, of Sutton, Massachusetts, passed away suddenly on March 11, 2026.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Maureen A. Cedar; his daughters, Tiana D. Cedar of Whitinsville and Tiffany L. Allard, wife of Henry Allard Jr., of Auburn; four grandchildren, Isabella M. Kniskern of Douglas, Fiona R. Comeau and Zoey R. Comeau of Millbury, and Jake T. Allard of Auburn; and his future great-grandchild, Maddox McCall, expected in June 2026. He also leaves three siblings, David Cedar of Elmira, New York, Michael Cedar of Worcester, and Karie Hagerty of Weare, New Hampshire, his niece Courtney Manning of Berlin, Massachusetts, and several other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Lorraine Cedar of Berlin, Massachusetts.

Richard graduated from Tahanto Regional High School in Boylston, Massachusetts, and served in the United States Air Force as a jet mechanic. Upon returning home, he worked as a truck driver for more than 50 years.

He cherished time with his family and grandchildren, whether cruising and island hopping, dining out, gardening, doing yard work, vacationing at Old Orchard Beach, or spending quiet summers by the pool. Kind, caring, and loving, Richard will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A private family celebration of life will be held in his honor.
