He was predeceased by: his parents, Laver Blake and Ilene Blake; his wife Margarett; his granddaughter Torey; and his siblings, Karl, Verla Jean, Ward and Verlene.

He is survived by: his children, Julz Laythorpe (Mike), Terry Blake (Kim), Jaclyn Rosenbruch (Bud) and Rochelle Westover; and his siblings, Joann, Rick and Jay Don. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Red Cliffs Chapel (1285 N Bluff St, St. George, UT 84770). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Kanab Cemetery (26 N 100 E, Kanab, UT 84741).
