Richard "Rick" Allen Willaby

Richard Allen “Rick” Willaby, 62, of Wagoner, Oklahoma, passed away on March 11, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born on August 6, 1963, in Albert Lea, Minnesota, to Clarence and Margie (Waalkens) Willaby, Rick moved with his family to Tecumseh, Oklahoma, where he attended and graduated from high school. He found deep joy in fishing, riding motorcycles, and cooking for the people he loved.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Willaby and Margie Waalkens Willaby Buckmaster; his stepfather, Louis Buckmaster; his brother, Michael Willaby; his son, Christopher Willaby; and his late wife, Annette Willaby.

He is survived by his wife, Lanica; his daughter, Asia (Michael) Watson; his sister, Debbie (Steve) Barrett; his brother, Brian Willaby; his sisters, Mary (Scott) Hawkins and Donna Willaby; his parents-in-law, Myrtle Burton and Joyce Day; his grandchildren, Anneliese, Ian, Hunter, Lincoln, Jak, Alex, and Zayne; and many nieces and nephews. Rick’s family will always remember his playful spirit, his love for Superman, and the comfort he brought through a good meal and time spent together.
