Richard A. Slusser

Richard A. Slusser of Germantown, Ohio, passed away on March 15, 2026, at the age of 71. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose presence brought warmth and steadiness to those around him.

Predeceased by his father Norman E. Slusser Sr., his stepfather Carl J. Amburgey, and his brother Norman “Norm” Slusser Jr., Richard is survived by his wife Betty J. Slusser; his mother Doris Amburgey (Hankin); his children Deborah L. Margerum (Dane J.) and Tim W. Sweeney (Michelle L.); his pet Radar; his grandchildren Brandis Nicole O’Bradovic (Joel M.), Kyle Jerome Margerum (Brandy M.), Lacey Jayne Schooler, Lindsey Griffin, Lauren Trusty (Bobby), and Leah Griffin; his great-grandchildren Cole Capone, Alexis Margerum, Maelee Margerum, and Emmie Margerum; his sister Cheryl Smith; and his niece Jessica Weeks.

Richard’s family and friends will remember him for the quiet strength and devotion he showed throughout his life. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
