Richard A. Hester, born on September 27, 1964, passed away on March 10, 2026. A skilled electrician, Richard devoted himself to his craft with dedication, yet his deepest commitment was always to his family and friends, where his true legacy resides.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who built his life on determination, laughter, and love. Richard cherished fast rides, lasting memories, and a good laugh—often at the cowboy’s expense. His warm spirit and quick wit touched everyone around him, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Margeana; his father, Marvin Hester; his daughters, Jemzee (Anthonie) Barrett, Jil’lana “Jil” (Mitchell) Grace, Julianna “Jules” (Tyler) Terry, and Jayme Treece; his brothers, Billy (Nicey) Hester and Bill Ham; his sisters, Lisa (Byron) Hudson and Jennifer (Jeff) Lively; and his cherished grandchildren, Alora, Adria, Nellie, and Arya. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a wide circle of dear friends who will carry him in their hearts.
Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Glenda Orrell, and his stepfather, Billy Ham Sr. His life was defined by love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered with respect and affection by all who knew him.
