Ceballos, 88, of Cahokia, Illinois, born September 10, 1937 in Veracruz, Mexico, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.Rico was a retired school bus driver from Cahokia Unit School District 187. He was a member of the Centreville Men's Club and "Oscar's Crew". He was a former member of the Fountain of Youth Baseball League.Surviving are his wife, Saundra Ceballos, nee Baumhardt; his children, Kevin Ceballos, Forrest (Marina) Ceballos, Theresa (Robert LiVigni) McNabb, Josh (Stephanie) Abel, and Elaine Buchheit; two sisters, Noemi Sallers and Abigail Lara; and three grandchildren, Olivia Ceballos and Hudson and Colton Abel. He was also a dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend.A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2026 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois.
