Rhonda Sue Post

Rhonda Sue Post, 60, of La Porte, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Brickyard Health in La Porte. She was born on October 1, 1965, in La Porte to James Lynn and Sue Ellen (Young) Witt.

On October 17, 1992, in La Porte, Rhonda married Michael Allan Post, who preceded her in death on August 3, 2015. She found joy in water parks, gardening, painting, reading, traveling, and watching movies. She also cherished nature walks, eating out, and browsing social media.

Rhonda is survived by her children, Christopher (Melissa) Witt, Brittney Witt, and Patrick Post; her siblings, John Witt and Heather (Mark) Gussman; her grandchildren, Tinley and Milo Witt, and Dalton Underwood; her special niece, Jamilyn Ekins; and her nephews, Zackery Padgett and Ethan Gussman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael; her parents; and her grandparents, Fred and Mary Young, and Walter and Gladys Witt.
