Rhonda M. Kantor

Rhonda M. (Rust) Kantor, born on October 29, 1960, in Richmond, Indiana, passed away on March 9, 2026, in Galloway, Ohio. A graduate of Richmond High School, she proudly served as a Deputy Sheriff in both Richmond, Kentucky, and Franklin County, Ohio. She was also a licensed cosmetologist in Indiana. Throughout her life, Rhonda was known for her dedication, loyalty, wit, supportiveness, and compassion. Her outgoing nature and ability to listen made her a cherished presence in the lives of those around her.

Rhonda was a loving wife, mother, and mamaw who took great joy in attending her grandchildren’s sports and school events. She was deeply committed to creating lasting memories with her family. She enjoyed country concerts as a proud member of Blake Shelton’s fan club, the “BSers,” and cherished trips to the ocean and visits to the casino.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Brad Kantor; her children, Brad (Samantha) Kantor Jr., Brittney (Jay), Whittney (Justin) Lane, and Skyylar (Victoria) Kantor; her grandchildren, Hailey, Briee, Braylee, Brooklynn, Marley, Emiley, Jaxson, Hayden, Alayshia, Mason, Zuri, Zendaya, and Kayla; and her great-granddaughter, Oaklee. She is also survived by her cousins Sheila (Orcutt) Toney, her niece and nephews Tabitha King, Anthony King, Joshua and Tyler Arnett, her mother-in-law Wanda Kantor, brother-in-law Chad Kantor, and sister-in-law Kim King.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby (Evans) Rust; her father, Ronald Rust; her grandparents, Nate and Clara (Goodridge) Evans; her brother, Randall Rust; and her cousin, Steve Orcutt.
