Rhonda Burgess

Rhonda Burgess, 51, of Salisbury, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Born on December 15, 1974, in Concord, North Carolina, to Johnny Daniels and Barbara Huffman Daniels, Rhonda cherished simple joys throughout her life. She found great pleasure in her coloring books, spending time with her family, and following her favorite soap opera, General Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Burgess, in addition to her parents.

Rhonda is survived by her son, Ronald Eugene Burgess, known affectionately as “Little Ronnie”; her brother, Chance Lee Daniels, known as “Lee Lee”; her nephew, Matthew Burgess; her brother-in-law, Michael Burgess; and her best friend, Marie Burgess.
