Rhonda Ann Whatley Thompson

Rhonda Ann Whatley Thompson, 72, of Burnet, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. She was born on August 28, 1953, in Beaumont, to Anna Louise Clark Whatley and Quinton P. “Jerry” Whatley.

Rhonda is survived by her oldest daughter, Rhonda Cherie “Chondie” Martin and her five children and two grandchildren; her son, William “Rick” Thompson III and his wife, Becky, along with their four children and eight grandchildren; and Jessica Falyn Davis and her husband, Steve, and their two children. She is also survived by her siblings, Jessie Whatley and his wife, Lela, of Silsbee; Rita Hawkins and her husband, Ronald, of Livingston; Tina Sweat and her husband, David, of Lumberton; Quinlyn Nichols and her husband, David, of Plano; and Dana Gonzalez and her husband, Ricky, of Granbury.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Scooter George Whatley.
