She was born in Dallas, Texas on August 22, 1951 to parents Charles Boyd McKay and Roselyn (Shanks) McKay.Rhoda is preceded in death by her parents Charles Boyd McKay and Roselyn (Shanks) McKay and sister Barbara (McKay) Frerich.Rhoda is survived by her 3 children, Sammi Breedlove and husband Greg, son, Farris Sawan and Amber and son Shariff Sawan and wife Jori. She is also survived by her Grandchildren: Jacob, Andrew, Morgan, Jordan, RiLee, Braxton, Easton, Jamison and Luke and one Great grandchild, Keanu along with many beloved family and friends.Rhoda's greatest joy in life was being a mother, grandmother, dear friend and follower of Christ. She was an avid crafter and loved creating handmade items for her friends and family that they treasure to this day.A Memorial visitation will be from 1:00–3:00 p.m. at RW Owens Funeral Home in Wolfe City, Texas on Sunday, March 8, 2026 followed by a tribute at 2:00 p.m officiated by Pastor Steve Bishop.
