Thomasville, GA
Rheuben Reynolds, age 73, of Cairo, Georgia, passed away on March 11, 2026, at Archbold Hospital in Thomasville, Georgia. Born on August 30, 1952, in Cairo to Luther Reynolds and Edyce Keene Reynolds, Rheuben was a gifted carpenter whose hands could create almost anything. He wove baskets, made pottery, built shelves, and constructed houses with equal skill and quiet pride.
Rheuben found his greatest peace outdoors. He cherished long walks in the woods, mowing the yard, and the solitude of nature, preferring the open air to the confines of any house. Known and loved by many, his gentle presence and remarkable talents left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
He is survived by his daughter, Kerry Waddell (Wendall) of Climax, Georgia; brothers, Louis Reynolds (Faye) of Crestview, Florida, Charles Reynolds of Bainbridge, Georgia, and Flint Reynolds (Delilah) of Bainbridge; grandchildren, Savannah Waddell and George Waddell; sister-in-law, Linda Reynolds; and his caregiver and dear friends, Thelma Parker (Chris) and their family, Nevaeh, Lazarus, Harley, Catalina, and River. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jessie Reynolds.
