Sigfrido Troche ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Demarco-Luisi Funeral Home on Mar. 10, 2026.Reverend Sigfrido Troche, MSSCC, beloved Catholic priest and devoted servant of God, passed away leaving behind a legacy of faith, joy, and compassion.Born in Spanish Harlem, New York City, Father Troche was the youngest of thirteen children born to Jose Angel and Hipolita Troche. His life was dedicated to serving God and caring for the communities he faithfully guided.Since 2017, Father Troche served the parish community at Divine Mercy Parish, where he was known for his strong faith, warm spirit, and joyful personality. He had a special gift for making people laugh with his humor and sarcasm and loved to sing, bringing joy to those around him.Father Troche is survived by a loving sister and brother; many nieces, nephews, and godchildren; his devoted nephew Raul Rivera; his grandniece Angelita Rivera; and many faithful parishioners whose lives were deeply touched by his ministry.Father Troche will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his dedication to his parish, and the kindness and laughter he brought into the lives of all who knew him.A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 6:00pm until 7:00pm, followed by Mass of the High Priest at 7:00pm at Divine Mercy Parish, 23 W. Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, and again on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 3:00pm until 4:00pm, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 4:00pm at the church. Interment will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026, at 12:00pm at St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx, NY.Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, Vineland.
