The passing of Reta S. Dohrer (Dallas, Texas), born in Tulsa, Oklahoma leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 8, 2026 at the age of 95. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Mike; her husbands, Art and Don; and her granddaughter Lauren Ridener. She is survived by: her great grandchild Memphis; her children, Karen Montgomery (Swanson) of Dallas, Art Swanson (Carolyn) of Scottsdale, Rick Swanson (Jamie) of Argyle and John Swanson of Oklahoma City; her grandchildren, Josh Swanson of Austin and Amanda Montgomery (Kelly Homan) of San Rafael; her daughter Melissa James (Matt Stammel) of Dallas, Texas.; and her great grandchildren, Wyatt James, Emma Swanson, Tyler Swanson, Peyton Ridener and Skylar Ridener. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the King of Glory Lutheran Church (6411 Lyndon B Johnson Fwy, Dallas, TX 75240).
