Reece Three Legs, 26, of Ft. Yates, North Dakota, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, in New Town, North Dakota.
Reece was a young man deeply connected to his community and his Lakota heritage. Those who knew him will remember his quiet strength, his ready smile, and the way he cared for the people around him. Though his time on this earth was far too short, he touched many lives with his genuine spirit and kind heart.
He leaves behind family and friends who loved him and will carry his memory in their hearts. Reece will be laid to rest in the St. Elizabeth Cemetery near Wakpala.
