Rebecca Boatman ObituaryVisit the Conner-Westbury Funeral Home website to view the full obituary.Rebecca Selby Boatman, age 85, of Griffin, Georgia, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026 at Wellstar Spalding Hospital.Rebecca was born in Old Hickory, Tennessee on November 21, 1940. Her parents, W.P. and Wiledith Boatman and sister, Paula Murray, all preceded her in death. Rebecca was a home economics teacher, then a dietician at Cook City Hospital in Chicago. She was the former registered dietician for Gambro Healthcare in Tennessee and Princeton Community Hospital in West Virginia. Rebecca was a member of the Crestview Baptist Church, a former Sunday school teacher, and formerly taught Sunday school at Assisted Living. She enjoyed playing cards, dominos, and loved people-especially her nieces and nephews.Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Bess (Mike) McGhin, Andrea (Keith) McMahan, Duane (Kristen) Murray; great-nieces and great-nephews, Lyle (Mandi) McGhin, Lindsey (Ross) Davey, Stephen (Hannah) Murray, Matthew (Katie Beth) Murray, Selby McMahan, Amanda (Nathan) Weaver; and several great great-nieces and great great-nephews.Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, March 15, 2026, 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Griffin Memorial Gardens.Read The Full Obituary
