Rebecca L. Hurd

Rebecca L. Hurd, 55, of Corinth, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, at her home with her parents by her side. Born on July 2, 1970, in Dover-Foxcroft, she was the daughter of Stephen H. and Sandra L. (Cole) Hurd. Becky lived with her parents throughout her life and graduated from High View Christian Academy in Charleston, where she later volunteered for many years. She was a faithful member of the Charleston Pentecostal Church.

Those who knew Becky will remember her gentle spirit and the quiet devotion she showed to her family, her church, and the school community she cherished. She is survived by her parents, Stephen and Sandra Hurd; her aunt, Cheryl Moulton and her family; and many special friends including Karen Ward, Bob and Lorraine Higgins and their family, Ted and Sue Grant and their family, Sky and Edie Stinson, David and Phyllis Bean, Tammy Shaw, Rev. Rick and Linda Libby, and Dr. John and Naomi Patten.

The family extends deep gratitude to the staff at Cancer Care of Maine in Brewer, especially Marcy, for their compassionate care.
