Rebecca DiRocco

Rebecca DiRocco, 76, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away on March 10, 2026. Born in Barberton to Army parents Jobbie and Georgia DiRocco, she grew up in a military family and spent most of her life as a longtime resident of Cuyahoga Falls. She worked as a supervisor of registration at Akron Children’s Hospital until her retirement.

Rebecca had a deep love for travel, with San Diego holding a particularly special place in her heart. She collected small keepsakes from her journeys, especially keychains, and took quiet pleasure in these reminders of places she had been. Yet she was equally content at home, where she created a warm and welcoming environment for family and friends. Her kitchen was the heart of the home, a place where she expressed her love through cooking and gathering loved ones around the table.

Above all, Rebecca’s greatest joy was her family. She adored her children and grandchildren and took immense pride in each of them. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jobbie and Georgia DiRocco. She is survived by her children, Stacy Croft, Carrie Croft, and Larry Croft, Jr. (Angela); her brother, David DiRocco (Tammy); grandchildren, Tessa Babcock (Eric), Courtney Byrd, Samantha Byrd, Jobbie Evans, Mya Croft, and Joshua Croft; and eleven great-grandchildren.
