Rebecca A. Silver, née King, born November 22, 1986, in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on March 10, 2026, at her home in Lebanon, Ohio. A dedicated nurse, talented artist, and devoted family woman, she lived a life defined by compassion, creativity, and deep love for those around her.
Rebecca earned her Bachelor’s Degree from The Ohio State University and became a Registered Nurse through Columbus State. She approached her nursing career with genuine care and enthusiasm, finding great joy in both her education and her service to others. Those who knew her described her as bright, strong-willed, and wholeheartedly committed to learning and helping people.
Beyond her professional life, Rebecca was an entrepreneur and artist who owned and operated Silver Tulips, creating beautiful macrame pieces that earned her a loyal following at trade shows and among admirers. From childhood, she showed natural talent in art and sports, particularly soccer, and cherished the teams she played on, many of which were coached by her parents. She lit up every room with her infectious laughter and radiant smile, offering warmth, kindness, and sincere interest in the lives of family and friends.
Rebecca was the beloved wife of Tom Silver, whom she met at Ohio State; their twenty-year marriage was a true partnership rooted in love and respect. She was a proud and loving mother to Max and Violet, pouring boundless affection into her role as their mom. She is also survived by her mother Kathy, sister Jen (and brother-in-law Erik), brother Jeff (and sister-in-law Kayla), and many cherished nieces and nephews—Annabelle, Ryder, Luke, Vivienne, Nelson, Chloe, Maddie, and Parker—along with her in-laws Steve, Kim, Stephanie, and Jon, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Jeff, grandparents Jim, Mary, Nelson, and Sara, grandmother-in-law Virginia, and grandfathers-in-law Tom and Eugene.
Her strength, generosity, and vibrant spirit touched countless lives and will remain an enduring inspiration to all who knew and loved her.
