Born on April 18, 1944, in Albany, NY, Raymond lived a life marked by dedication and integrity. He was 81 years old at the time of his peaceful passing from natural causes.Raymond proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He devoted much of his professional life to his role as Chief Financial Officer for Rockland Community College and others, where his expertise and commitment were valued and respected by colleagues and friends alike. His career was characterized by diligence and a steadfast devotion to his responsibilities.Raymond was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Harold and Theresa Harter.He leaves behind a loving family, including his partner of 30 years, Karen DeMauro of Clarion, and his cherished daughter, Kristin Steinke, along with her husband, Kristopher Steinke, and their daughter, Sadie Steinke, all residing in Texas. He is also survived by Karen's children: Thomas DeMauro and his wife, Linda, of Brookville, and their children, Alyssa and Tommy DeMauro; as well as Kristi Esposito and her husband, Phil, of New Jersey, and their children, Angelina and Xavier Esposito. Raymond is also survived by his sister, Pauline Harter, and brother, James Harter.Raymond will be remembered fondly by those who knew him and will be deeply missed.
