Raymond Orville Clark

Raymond Orville Clark, 88, of Derby, Kansas, passed away on March 12, 2026. Born on December 8, 1937, in Dodge City, Kansas, to Charles and Mildred (Crone) Clark, he grew up in the area, graduating from Bloom High School before attending Dodge City Community College.

Raymond built a long career in aviation procurement, working as a senior buyer at Boeing from 1987 to 1999 and later at Cessna Aircraft Company from 1999 until his retirement in 2001. Those who knew him will remember his love of music and his willingness to play the steel guitar for anyone who asked.

He is survived by his daughter Pam Vandandaigue and her husband Gary, his daughter-in-law Peggy Clark, his sister Carolyn Greenlee and her husband David, and his granddaughter Lindsey Vandandaigue. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, his son Gary Clark, and his brother Charles Clark.
