Raymond Michael Rodriguez

Raymond Michael Rodriguez, age 61, passed away peacefully at his home. Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, he spent his entire life in West St. Paul, the community he proudly called home.

Raymond dedicated 31 years to the United States Postal Service as a postal clerk, where his strong work ethic and dependability earned him respect. A man of deep emotion, compassion, and heart, he held unwavering respect for his family, who meant everything to him. He lived with loyalty, pride, and honor, finding his greatest happiness and fulfillment in his two sons, Mario and Jaymes, of whom he was incredibly proud.

He took joy in time spent on the golf course, his longtime admiration for Michael Jordan, collecting shoes—especially Nike—and the pride he took in his beloved Pontiac Firebird, which he enjoyed showing off whenever he could.

Raymond is survived by his sons, Mario (Meredith) and Jaymes (Elizabeth); his loving mother, Ramona; his siblings, Shelly (Tim) and Robert (Vida); and several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert. He will be remembered for his kindness, loyalty, and the deep love and respect he held for his family. His legacy lives on through his sons and the many lives he touched. Those who knew him best will forever remember him as “Ray the Blade.”
