Raymond Keith Lucas

Raymond Keith Lucas, 76, of Macclenny, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026, under the care of Macclenny Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Columbia, South Carolina, on July 26, 1949, to Klyde and Jessie (Parker) Lucas, Raymond spent many years working for the Florida Department of Corrections. A longtime member of St. James Baptist Church, he found deep fulfillment in his faith and in singing. In his younger years he enjoyed golf and bowling, and he remained a devoted fan of the Jacksonville Jaguars, Clemson Tigers, and Baker County Wildcats, rarely missing an opportunity to attend their games.

Preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Stanley Lucas, Raymond is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Lucas of Altamonte Springs; his grandsons, Jameson Thorpe and Jax Thorpe; his siblings, Vivian Lucas and Karen (John) Rambo, both of Macclenny, and Warren Lucas of Jacksonville; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held.
