It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond James Soucek (Parma, Ohio), who passed away on March 7, 2026, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Dorothy Blazanek. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Soucek; and his children, Michael (Jan), Timothy James, Susan Kozlowski (Mike), Mark (Arlene), Nancy Surak (Matthew) and Ted (Georgine). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hopko Funeral Home (6020 Broadview Rd, Parma, OH 44134). A prayer will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Church (7367 York Rd, Cleveland, OH 44130). A burial will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 at the Holy Cross Cemetery (14609 Brookpark Rd, Brook Park, OH 44142).
