He was born on September 3, 1946, in Greensburg, the son of the late Norman and Ophelia (Martinez) Murray. Prior to retirement, Ray was employed by Wabco. After retirement, He worked for at Excela Westmoreland hospital and at the Latrobe Airport. Ray enjoyed relaxing at home, traveling to Atlantic City and going to the casinos. Ray is survived by his loving wife, Jackie (McCracken) Murray, his stepchildren, Dawn Stern, and her husband, Joe, Rocky Kremer, and his wife, Errika, and his grandson, Henry Kremer. He is also survived by his siblings, Carol Windsor, and her husband, Alan, and James Murray, and his wife, Cindy. In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his brothers, David Murray and Allen Murray.
