He was predeceased by: his parents, Fannie Surrell Rutland "Honey" Wallace and Raymond Howard Wallace, Sr.; and his siblings, Mary Elizabeth Smith of Savannah and Marion Emmett "Coot" Wallace of Upatoi, Georgia.. He is survived by: his wife Katharine Ritter Wallace; his sister Elizabeth Jane Hobbs of Auburn, Alabama; his children, Raymond Howard Wallace, III (Karen) of Annandale and Mary Haviland Steele (Ronald) of Oakton, Virginia; and his grandchildren, Ian Wallace of Annandale, Thomas Steele and Kate Steele of Oakton, Virginia. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Clayton Cemetery North Midway.
