Camp Hill, PA

Raymond Francis Napoli passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, surrounded by his family. Born on July 25, 1936, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to the late Filomena (Intrieri) and Agostino Napoli, Ray was the youngest of eight siblings. He graduated from Catholic High in Harrisburg in 1954 and married the love of his life, Margaret “Peg” (Carduff) Napoli, in 1961. Together they shared a long and happy marriage until Peg’s passing in 2019.

Ray retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Department of General Services. He also worked for thirty years at Pomeroy’s and Bon Ton department stores and was a licensed barber. A devout Catholic and longtime parishioner of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Camp Hill, he served faithfully for many years as a Eucharistic Minister, blood bank coordinator, organizer of the Lenten Appeal, Arimathean, and collection counter.

He cherished time with family and friends, particularly golfing with his brothers-in-law and sharing meals at local restaurants. Ray traveled to Ireland and to Italy, where he visited his parents’ hometowns and met cousins. He also enjoyed memorable cruises with Peg, their daughter, and son-in-law.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Michelle Schaaf, and son-in-law, Carl Schaaf, as well as his sister-in-law Susan Johnson and her husband David, sister-in-law Kathryn (Kay) Miller and her husband James, brother-in-law James Allen, sister-in-law Patricia Napoli, brother-in-law Thomas Carduff and his wife Janet, brother-in-law Joseph Carduff, and many nieces and nephews.
