Raymond Bobby Stalans passed away on March 6, 2026. Born on October 31, 1930, in Madisonville, he served his country as a U.S. Navy veteran before becoming a certified electrician and working at the Oak Ridge Nuclear Plant.
Raymond cherished time spent with family and friends. He was an avid farmer throughout his life, enjoyed raising, training, and hunting with Plott hounds for raccoon and bear, and loved playing guitar and making music with others. A man of deep faith, he found great joy in attending services at the Lighthouse Christian Fellowship Church.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Diane Stalans; his parents, Bessie and Victor Stalans; his sister, Ruby, and Kenneth Toomey; his son-in-law, Robert Dean White; and his grandson, Robert Jason White. He is survived by his three daughters, Judy White, Dorothea Adkins, and Loretta Stalans; his brother, Starlin, and Edith Stalans; five grandchildren, Stephen and Brandon Adkins, Joey and Angelique White, and Maggie Stalans Yarnold; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Raymond spent many cherished hours with Angelica King, Isabella Adkins, and Ariella Adkins, and he dearly loved his nieces and nephews.
He was grateful for the steadfast support of his special friends, Bo and Tammy Stakley, and Rose Quiett. The family extends heartfelt thanks to Josephine Kelley and all the PCM nurses who cared for him with such compassion.
